Stanley E. Mills
Wine Harbour, Aug. 31 – The death of Stanley E. Mills occurred at St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish, after an illness of several months.
Born at Port Hilford, Guysborough Co. 46 years ago. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Mills.
He made his home at Wine Harbour for many years and was engaged in fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Julia; three daughters, Muriel (Mrs. George Shea), Toronto; Evelyn (Mrs. James Cameron), Whites Lake, Halifax Co.; Vivian, of Toronto, and one son, Everett, in the R.C.A.F. in France. Also surviving are one brother, Ernest, Sonora, N.S., and one half brother, Allan, a hospital patient.
The funeral was held on Monday afternoon, Aug. 30, at the Wine Harbour Union Church, with Rev. Charles Pye conducting the service.
Burial was at Wine Harbour.
