Jack D. Matthews

NEW TOWN, Guysborough Co., -- Jack Donald Matthews, of Cold Lake, Alta., died in Alberta on Saturday.

He was retired warrant officer with the Royal Canadian Airforce.

He is survived by his wife, the former Maudie (Mae) Gunn, formerly of Denver, Guysborough County; two sons, Donald, Sydney and Glen, Vancouver, a daughter, Cheryl, Vancouver and five grandchildren.
His remains will be transferred from Alberta to Glenelg for funeral service.
