WORTH, Roland Patrick ~ 87, Tracadie, formerly of North Ogden, Guysborough Co., died January 17, 1998, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Born in North Ogden, he was a son of the late Edward and Katherine (MacCallum) Worth. He worked in lumbering and farming for most of his life. Surviving are his wife, the former Annie Jones; daughters, Irene, (Mrs. Henry Worth), Giant’s Lake; Marie (Mrs. William Pelley), Guysborough; Isabel MacDonald, Antigonish; Hilda MacEachern, Tracadie; Hazel (Mrs. Gary Cleary), Guysborough Interval; Rita (Mrs. Delbert Pelley), South Side Harbour; Patricia (Mrs. Bryan Benoit), St. Andrews; Doreen Boudreau, Ogden; sons, Bernard, Angus, Ontario; Charlie, John, Antigonish; Leslie, St. Andrews; Donald, Black Avon; brother, Joseph, Oran, Ont; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons, Joseph, William, Leo; brothers, Ernie Joe, Charlie, George, Michael, John, Billy Joe; sisters, Hilda, Lexie, Mary, Mary Alice, Isabel. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Curry Bros. Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Thomas Church, Salmon River, Rev. Allan MacPhie officiating.
