Berton A. Myers, New Glasgow

The death of Berton (Bert) Alvin Myers, 88,
of 248 Grant St. formerly of Stormont, Guysborough County,
occured Wednesday in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in Fishermen`s Harbor,Guysborough County,
he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth(MacIntosh)Myers.
He was a retired carpenter
and a former employee of Eastern Wood - Workers and Maritime Steel.
He was an adherent of First Baptist Church
and a member of the Oddfellows Lodge.
Surviving are a daughter,Florence (Mrs. John A. DeYoung),New Glasgow;
two grandchildren and four great - grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife the former Jennie Johnstone;
and two sisters Florence and Gladys.
