HENDSBEE, Margaret Anne - 89, White Head, Guysborough Co., formerly of Half Island Cove, Guysborough Co., died December 6, 1998, in White Head. Born in Peas Brook, she was a daughter of the late John and Annie (Dort) Jamieson. She was a devoted wife and homemaker. She was involved in the fishing industry, working side by side with her husband who was a commercial fisherman for many years. Surviving are foster-son, Arnold Murphy; Half Island Cove; brother, Lindsay, Peas Brook; sister, Leula Scott, Melford; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy; brothers, Clarence, Jacob; sisters, Ruby Murphy, Gertie Rhynold. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, both in Half Island Cove Baptist Church, Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Burial in Bayview Cemetery, Half Island Cove. Donations to IWK Grace Health Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
