Jordan, Harold Stone

Sherbrooke, Guysborough Co.; died January 12, 2000, in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Indian Harbour Lake, he was a son of the late James and May (Helpard) Jordan. He retired from Sherbrooke Village after 10 years service as a carpenter. He was a member of the Queens AM & FM Masonic Lodge 34, Sherbrooke, from which he received his 50 year jewel. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl Harpell; sons, Timmy, Bridgewater; Keith, at home; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Mary Bright, Stella Barnes, Gladys MacDonald, Ada Carroll, a brother in infancy. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, both in Ecum Secum Funeral Home, Sherbrooke. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday, in St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke, Rev. Larry Welsh officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke. Family flowers only please.
