MRS. JANE BURKE

The death occurred recently at Drum Head, Guysboro County
of Mrs. Jane Burke, in her 85th year.
She was the widow of Henry Burke who died eight years ago.
Born at Isaac's Harbour, Guysboro County,
she lived most of her life at Drum Head.
Although, she had been in ill health for some time,
her sudden passing was a shock to all who knew her.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Truman Burke, (Blanche),
Mrs Mable Strople, both of Drum Head
and Mrs. Charles LeLievre, (Gladys), Halifax,
two sons Harold and Morris, both of Drum Head,
three sisters, Mrs. James Burke, (Rene), of Drum Head,
Mrs. Bertha Colburne, Boston and Mrs. John Crooks, (Elizabeth), of Timmins, Ont.,
and one brother, Edward of Seal Harbour, Guysboro County.

The funeral took place at Drum Head.
