Eleanor Theresa "Wiggy" Harte

HARTE, Eleanor Theresa "Wiggy" - 72,
Goldboro, Guysborough Co.,
died Thursday, August 24, 2000,
in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of
the late Jerimiah and Annie (Curry) Toomey.
She was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Glace Bay.
After living most of her life in Glace Bay,
she moved to Goldboro 21 years ago.
Eleanor was best known for her love of Bingo and card playing.
A loving mother and grandmother, she will be sorely missed by all.
She is survived by daughters, Donna MacLeod (Raymond), Isaac's Harbour;
Elaine Hudson (Randy), Drumhead; sons, Gerald (Donna), Glace Bay;
Blair (Marsha) and Brian (Joanne), both of Isaac's Harbour;
brothers, Tim (Pat) and Jerry (Jean), both of Glace Bay;
13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Stewart; brothers, Donald and Joseph (Tom);
sister, Sarah (Kay) Langley; half-sister, Mary Fricker.
Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home,
Country Harbour, Rev. Chuck Mosley officiating.
Burial in Seaside Cemetery, Seal Harbour.
Family flowers only please.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
