Mrs Eliza Munroe, White Head, July 18 - The death occurred at Eastern
memorial Hospital,Canso,
on Thursday July 5 of Eliza Munroe, age 71,
widow
of the late Wellesley Munroe.
Deceased was a resident of White Head until
the past three years
when failing in health she spent much of her time in
Canso
with her daughter Mrs Vera Munroe who tenderly cared for her during
her illness.
Surviving are four sons and four daughters, Osborne, Hartford,
Conn; Winslow and Ward, White Head;
Douglas, Imperoyal; Mrs Dorothy
Henneberry, Imperoyal; Mrs Vera Munroe, Canso;
Louise, Mrs Evan Langille,
Halifax; and Lena , Mrs Farnham Demmings, Chipman NB.
Her husband
predeceased her by 13 years and a daughter Aleta died in early childhood.
Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at her home in White Head,
followed by service at the United Church, conducted by Rev Murray Favier.
