Mrs Alice Williams -
the death of Mrs Alice Williams occurred at the home
of Mr and Mrs John Powell, Halifax, November 28,
where she had been
residing a short period of time.
She was 81 years of age.
The former Alice
Jamieson was born in Birmingham England in 1892
and was adopted at an early
age by the late John and Anne Jamieson.
She was predeceased by her husband,
Albert Williams in 1943.
Mrs Williams devoted her time to church activities
and was an active member in the St James Church Guild.
The funeral service
was conducted by Fr. George Beech
in St James Anglican Church, Half Way
Cove on December 1st
with Burial in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were
Aubrey Jamieson, Wayne Jamieson, Sylvester Jamieson, Douglas Jamieson,
Queensport; Russell Jamieson, Tor Bay and Gordon Pyle of Boylston.
