Cpl. John F. Hunt, Phillips Harbour, June 26 -
Cpl. John F. Hunt of Camp Gagetown, who lived in Oromocto, NB
passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday evening , June 18.
His body was brought to his wife's home on Friday evening,
accompanied by Captain Bloomfield. Funeral took place on Saturday morning
at 11 o'clock in St Vincent De Paul Church in Queensport
with burial in the Church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife the former Mabel Creamer,
only daughter of Mr and Mrs Harvey Creamer,one daughter, and three sons,
all at home; his father, Fred Hunt , seven sisters and three brothers
who all attended the funeral, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Soldiers from Camp Gagetown and a band from the air force
in Sydney also attended.
