Mrs Annie P MacDuff, Fox Island, July 3 -

Mrs Annie P MacDuff in her 99th year,
passed away on June 24 at the home of her son Gerald,
Fox Island, where she resided.
Born in Lamaline, Nfld, in 1870, she was the daughter of
Mr and Mrs John Hellier. She came to Nova Scotia
in 1894 and in 1896 she married the late William MacDuff, Fox Island,
residing there until her death.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Emma Rattray,
Hazel Hill, four sons, John, Boston, USA;
Leslie, Hazel Hill; Frederick and Gerald,Fox Island.
She was predeceased by one son and a daughter.
The funeral took place at 2 pm June 27
at all Saint's Anglican Church, Canso,
with Rev A R Brett officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Coleman Munroe, Levi Daley,
Bernard Richard, George Murphy, Samuel Delorey, and Charlie Murphy.
