Sadie S Newell, 82,
30 Stephen Cross Drive, Dartmouth,
died Thursday in
Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Upper White Head, Guysborough County,
she was a
daughter of the late J Galford
and Brittle (Dobson) Feltmate.
She is
survived by two daughters Utah
(Mrs Lewis Beaver), Sherbrooke,
Irma (Mrs
David Gravelle), Dartmouth;
two sisters, Annie Smith, Sackville; Dollena
(Mrs Charles Ward), New Glasgow;
two brothers, Oakley and Lester, both of
Canso;
14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her
husband,
Harry Desmond, a daughter Eileen Zwicker,
an infant son, Reynolds,
a sister
Goldie Schrader. The body has been cremated.
Funeral will be 3 pm
Saturday
in All Saints Anglican Church, Canso.
Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
