Mrs Mansfield Newell, 82, of Canso, Guys Co
was buried in All Saints cemetery following funeral service
in All Saints Anglican Church, Canso,
Rev Langley MacLean officiating. Born in White Head,
she was the former Lila Feltmate, daughter of the late
Walter and Margaret (Greencorn) Feltmate.
She is survived by three sons, Coleman, Canso; Stanley, New Glasgow;
Douglas, Mulgrave; five daughters, Mrs Edna Dort;
Amanda (Mrs Lester Feltmate), Leona (Mrs Fred George) ,
all of Canso ; Jean (Mrs Howard Greencorn) Burlington, Ont;
Mrs Bertha Barkhouse, Pictou; three brothers, William, Eight Island Lake;
John and Larry, Central Caribou; 34 grandchildren,
47 great grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Mansfield and a son Gordon.
