Douglas James Newell, Hazel Hill, 56,
died Friday, March 15 at the Eastern
Memorial Hospital Canso.
He was born at Canso. He was the son of
the late
Mansfield and Lila Newell.
He is survived by his wife the former Ann
(Greencorn),
four daughters, Sheila, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Gloria Jean,
two
sons Melvin and Robert, all at home;
five sisters, Mrs Edna Dort, Mrs
Lester Feltmate, Mrs Leona George,
all of Canso; Bertha Barkhouse, New
Glasgow; Mrs Howard Greencorn,
Burlington, Ont, one brother Stanley , New
Glasgow.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Coleman and Gordon.
Funeral
was on March 18, at All Saints Church, Canso,
Rev. Young officiating. Burial
in All Saints Cemetery.
