Feltmate, John Donald - 56,
Hazel Hill, died Sunday in Eastern Memorial
Hospital, Canso.
Born in Hazel Hill, he was a son of the late John and
Catherine (Rossong) Feltmate.
He was a heavy equipment operator for the
town of Canso
and was formerly employed with the Department of
Transportation.
He was a member of the Star of the Sea parish, Canso.
He is
survived by seven sisters, Marjory (Mrs Bill Kiley)
and Gladys, (Mrs Doug
Woodburn) both of Cashe Creek, BC;
Mrs Peggy Shute ,Glassboro NJ; Mrs Pearl
Boyd, Taunton, Mass;
Mrs Edna Smith, Halifax; Jean, (Mrs Gordon Clarke)
Vancouver;
Sadie (Mrs Joseph Jamieson) Guysborough; two brothers, Neil,
Hazel Hill;
Doug, Halifax. He was predeceased by a sister Bertina;
a
brother Thomas. The body is in Dennis Haverstock
Funeral Home, Canso.
Funeral will be
2 pm Wednesday in Star of the Sea Church, Canso,
Rev James
W Oliver, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery .
In lieu
flowers, donations may be made to the Star of the Sea Church,
Eastern
Memorial Hospital or any charity.
