Mrs Harvey George:
The many friends and relatives throughout the community
of White Head, Guysborough County,
were shocked to learn of the death of
Mrs Jean George,
which occurred at the Red Cross Hospital, Guysboro,
Feb 2
at the age of 23.
Mrs George was well-known in Upper Whitehead
and vicinity
for her friendly disposition
and her passing will be mourned by many.
Surviving besides her husband, Harvey George,
are two children, Vernal,
nineteen months and an infant son.
Also her parents, Mr and Mrs Thomas
O'Leary,
one sister Mrs Clarence Murphy, and a brother,
Leonard, all of
Queensport.
Funeral services were held from St Vincent de Paul Church,
Rev
Father Nearing officiating.
Interment was in St Vincent de Paul cemetery at
Queensport.
