Basil Ooard Rudolph

- 62, Port Bickerton, Guysborough County,
died Wednesday in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Port Bickerton, he was a son of the late
Alexander and Mahala (Dingle) Rudolph.
He was a commercial fisherman and in later years
employed by J.A. Tate Construction as a carpenter.
He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Bickerton,
and a past master of Queens Masonic Lodge 34 AF & AM,
Sherbrooke, as well as an active member of Seaside Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, the former May MacNaughton;
a son, Timothy, at home; two daughters,
Shirley (Mrs. David Kaiser) Sherbrooke; Arlene, at home;
two granddaughters; a brother, Raymond, Larry's River;
four sisters, Florence (Mrs. Charles Anslow), Victoria B.C.;
Eleanor (Mrs. Earl Pullman) London, Ontario; Roberta (Mrs. William Kawecki),
Edwardsville, Cape Breton; Geneva (Mrs. Chesley Kaiser),
Port Bickerton. He was predeceased by two brothers,
Owen, Brenton. The body is in St. Paul's Anglican Church,
Port Bickerton, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today,
where funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday,
Rev. Greg MacMullin officiating. Burial will be in
St. Paul's Cemetery. Donations may be made
to St. Paul's Anglican Church or St. Mary's Memorial Hospital.
