The funeral for Sylvester (Buster) Jamieson, 54,
of Phillips Harbour was held
Tues. in Christ Church,
Queensport, with burial in the parish cemetery. He died
Sept. 5
in Valentines Cove. He was born in Peas Brook, son of
the late William and Reta
(Rhynold) Jamieson.
He was a lifetime fisherman. He is survived by his wife Dorothy,
five daughters, Linda (Mrs Gilbert Greencorn), Half Island Cove;
Janet (Mrs
Jerome Porter), Dort's Cove;
Margaret (Mrs Thomas Bouchie), Dover, Cindy
and Beverly both at home, Seven sons, Sylvester Jr,
Mattie Settlement,
Roger, Phillips Harbour;,
Robert and David both of Prince Edward Island;,
Terry, Pictou;,
Douglas and Kenny both at home, three sisters, Beatrice,
Stellarton, Viola (Mrs Thomas O'Leary),
Queensport, Winnifred (Mrs Fred
Williams) Lower Sackville,
two brothers Willard in Ont. and Basil, Peas
Brook .
He was predeceased by two children in infancy.
