Mrs. James Grover of Lower White Haven
passed away at Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, on June 11.
The former Francis Violetta, she was born in Peasbrooke
on March 4, 1889, a daughter of the late
Alexander and Cynthia Feltmate Jamieson.
She is survived by three daughters, Margaret (Mrs Ross Feltmate,
Bayfield, Leata (Mrs Alva Fraser) and Helen
(Mrs Alex Goodyear), Trenton, three sons, Harold, Trenton,
James, Afton, Bordon, Tor Bay; and one foster son,
Harold of Halifax, five brothers Eldrige and William
Jamieson, Peasbrooke, Allen Jamieson, Havre Boucher,
Charlie Jamieson, Halifax and Edison Jamieson, Trenton,
four sisters Edith (Mrs Mark Horton), Trenton, Leata (Mrs Bert Williams)
in Wayne, Michigan, Edna (Mrs James Williams) and Belle
(Mrs Arthur Murphy), Halifax. She was predeceased
by her husband James in 1969 and one daughter Cynthia Viola
in infancy. Her remains rested at her late residence
from Sat., Jun 13 to Monday, June 15, when it was transferred
to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, for the funeral.
The organist was Mrs. Ira George.
Honorary pallbearers were Roy Ehler, Ernie Pyke, Howard Casey, Henry Spears,
Allen Jamieson and Henry McCabe. Pallbearers were grandsons
Wayne Boyles, Joseph Fraser, nephews Atwood Williams, Aubrey Jamieson,
Sylvester Horton and John Power.
Burial was in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
