Martha Harriett MacKay

CANSO, Oct. 31 -

The death occurred in City Hospital, Sydney,
after a lengthy illness, of Mrs. Martha Harriett MacKay,
widow of the late James MacKay of Canso.
She was 87 years old.
Mrs. MacKay resided in Canso for many years.
Some time after her husband's death
she made her home with her daughter in Sydney.
Surviving are two daughters, Ida, (Mrs. John DOWNS),
Vancouver, B.C. and Jennie, (Mrs. J. BEATON),
Sydney with whom she lived.
Remains were brought to Canso.
Interment was in Forth Hill Cemetery.
Rev. H. E. Colpitts officiated.
