KAISER, Sadie Willena - 93,
Port Bickerton, Guysborough Co., died Sunday,
July 1, 2001,
in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in East
Mountain, she was a daughter of
the late Solomon and Armina (Gilby) Roode.
In earlier years, she was employed as a seamstress
with Grendal Clothing in
New Glasgow and was also
a member of the Women's Institute of Nova Scotia.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived
by son, Darrell, Port Bickerton;
daughter, Joyce (Mrs. Rael Daigle),
Antigonish; four grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hayden Kaiser;
brothers,
Ira, David, Maynard, Marsden;
sisters, Annie Bartlett, Alda Moxon, Mildred
Flanagan.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today, funeral service will be held
Wednesday
at 2 p.m., both in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour,
Rev. Mullons officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery,
Port
Bickerton. Memorial donations to
the St. Mary's Memorial Hospital or
Hillside Cemetery Fund.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to G.W. Giffin
Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
