died June 18, 1998, at home.
Born in Dorts Cove, she was a daughter of the
late William and Margaret (Spanks) Porter.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Half Island Cove.
She was a former employee of Port Bickerton and Canso fish plants.
Surviving are brother, Jerome and wife Janet;
nieces, Tracey and Trina, with whom she resided;
brother, Courtney (Buddy) and wife Ada, Dorts Cove;
Alexander (Scott) and wife Violet, Bedford;
sisters, Gladys Hulme, New Waterford; Elizabeth (Betty)
(Mrs. Ervin Rafter), Dorts Cove; many other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob);
sister, Doris Taylor. Funeral was Saturday in
Grace Baptist Church, Sunnyville, Pastor Jason Bullock
and Pastor Clarence Bungay officiated. Burial in Riverside Cemetery,
New Harbour. Donations may be made to
