Obituary for
Murray A. MacInnis
MELROSE -- Murray A. MacInnis, 81, of Melrose, Guysborough County,
died Sunday in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Melrose, he was the son of the late John A. and Grace (Grant) MacInnis.
He was a resident of Melrose all his life and was a member of the Glenelg Presbyterian Church.
He was a retired asphalt inspector, retiring from the Department of Highways.
He is survived by his wife, the former Edith M. Langille;
one daughter, Gloria (Mrs. Donald Parker), Hilden
three grandchildren, Troy, Robyn, Kelsi;
one sister, Hannah (Mrs. Erick Erikson) Natick, Mass.
He was predeceased by a son, Dana; two brothers, Edmund and Grant.
His remains have been cremated.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Kirk Memorial United Church, Glenelg.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Aspen.
His family will receive friends at his late residence in Melrose. No flowers by request of the family.
