Jean Eleanor Davis
DAVIS, Jean Eleanor - 84,
Clayton Park, Halifax, formerly of Yarmouth and Mulgrave,
passed away Sunday, May 24, 1998, at home.
Born in Mulgrave, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Peeples) Barrie.
She was a former member of Trinity United Church, Mulgrave,
and Beacon United Church, Yarmouth. She was a former employee
of Yarmouth Regional Hospital and Grace Maternity Hospital.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star in Yarmouth.
Surviving are her daughter, Madelyn Jean Davis, Clayton Park;
son Robert Charles and wife Gail, Ardoise, Hants Co.;
grandsons, Scott Marten, Glenn Robin, Aaron Charles. She was predeceased
by her husband, Charles William; sister, Dorothy Keating.
Funeral was Tuesday in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place,
Rev. Bill Newell of Yarmouth officiated. Interment took place
in Trinity United Church Cemetery, Mulgrave. Memorial donations
to Canadaian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
