NEW GLASGOW -- A large number of friends and relatives gathered at Calvary Temple, Saturday, Oct. 18, to attend the funeral of Harry Vincent Tate.
The service was conducted by Rev. David Slauenwhite, assisted by Rev. I.D. Rayner.
The eulogy was given by a friend of the family, Mrs. Helen Christie.

The choir of Calvary Temple led in the singing of the hymn, The Old Rugged Cross and assisted in a solo How Great Thou Art by Mrs. Christie.

The honorary pallbearers, friends of the deceased, were Dr. H.A. Locke, Murray MacInnis, Austin Tate, Alex MacKay, Melford MacLean, and Sandy MacIntosh.

The active pallbearers were nephews Murray MacHattie, Russell MacHattie, Brian MacHattie and Sidney G. MacIntosh, Robert Stewart and Gary Stewart.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Aspen.
