PORT HILLFORD -
Mrs. Eva Hewitt, 81, of Port Hillford,
died Monday in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Port Hillford, she was a daughter
of the late David and Minnie (McConnell) Reid.
She was an adherent of Port Hillford United Baptist Church
and a charter member of the Women's Institute.
She is survived by a brother Stanley, Port Hillford;
several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred L.,
a son and a daughter in infancy;
two brothers, Percy and David; two sisters,
Annie and Verena.
The body is in the family residence, Port Hillford,
where the funeral will be 2 p.m. today,
Rev. Josephine Moore officiating,
with burial in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Port Hillford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to Cherry Hill Cemetery Fund or any charity.
