Funeral service for Mrs. Russell Chambers, 51,
of Marie Joseph, who died Sept. 3,
was held in St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Marie Joseph,
Rev. Edgar Parsons officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
Born in Eight Island Lake, she was the former
Alma Feltmate, a daughter of Nathaniel and Mary Feltmate of Goshen.
She is survived by her husband Russell;
two sons, Douglas and Melvin; both of Marie Jospeh;
two daughters, Deborah (Mrs. Ernest Rudolph), Marie Joseph, and Leona
(Mrs. Leonard Veinotte), Halifax; five sisters, Dorothy,
in California; Florence (Mrs. Joe Yuzdepski), in Ontario;
Bettey (Mrs. George Huggan), Sylvestor; Bertha
(Mrs. Earl Mason), Goshen, and Alice (Mrs. Charles Fenton),
Antigonish; two brothers, Wesley and James,
both of Goshen; two grandchildren.
