MUNROE, Lauchie Daniel - 73,
Canso Seaside Manor, formerly of Little Dover,
died May 24, 1998, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
Born in Little Dover, he was a son of the
late Daniel and Annie (Harnish) Munroe.
He was a retired fisherman. He was a member of
Dover Bay Senior Citizens Club and a member of
St. Agnes Parish. Surviving are his wife,
the former Isabell Sampson; son, Brian A., Little Dover;
sisters, Ada (Mrs. Fred Ryan), Belleville, Ont.;
Valeria (Mrs. Martin Bouchie), Little Dover;
brothers, Kenneth, Milford Haven Home for Special Care,
Guysborough; Tommy, Toronto; Ernie, Frank, Little Dover;
Lawrence, Canso; three grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers,
Garfield, Alonzo, Lloyd; sisters, Marie, one in infancy.
Funeral was Wednesday in St. Agnes Church, Little Dover,
Rev. John Morrison officiated. Burial in the parish cemetery.
