ROSS, James Tory - 86,
Milford Haven Home for Special Care,
Guysborough, died January 25, 1999, in the home.
Born in Milford Haven, he was a son of the
late Coleman and Ellen (Lucas) Ross.
He was a member of St. Ann's Parish, Gusyborough.
He was veteran of the Second World War,
serving overseas with the Canadian Army.
Afterwards, he was employed with Nova Construction, Antigonish,
until his retirement. Surviving are sisters, Margaret
(Mrs. Alex MacInnis), Trenton, Pictou Co.;
Frances (Mrs. Roland Luddington), New Glasgow; brothers,
Norman, Dighton, Mass.; Coleman, Halifax; Thomas,
Mermaid, P.E.I.; Charles, Sudbury, Ont.
He was predeceased by brothers, Leslie, Bernard "Jack",
sisters, Eunice Webber, Jean Sinclair. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m.
today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Ann's Church,
Rev. Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
Donations to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or any charity.
