MARR, Maurice Thompkin - 76, Canso,
formerly of Boyleston, died November 8, 1997,
in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site.
Born in Boyleston, he was a son of the
late Lawrence and Isabell (McKeough) Marr.
He was a retired mill worker and worked as a stevedore in Mulgrave.
He was a member of St. Ann's Parish, Guysborough.
Surviving are sisters, Marjorie Carrigan, Canso;
Myrtle MacDonald, Black Avon; brother, Alex, Halifax;
half-sister, Helen McLean, Watertown, Mass.; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Edward, Charles; sisters, Mary-Bell,
Gertrude; seven half-brothers; three half-sisters.
Funeral was in Star of the Sea Church, Canso,
Rev. John Morrison oofficiating.
Burial in St. Ann's Parish Cemetery, Guysborough.
Donations to any charity.
