Stanley Clifford Borden - 79, Canso,
died Aug. 12, 1994, in Middlewood, Lunenburg County.
Born in East Tracadie, he was a son of
the late Stanley and Charlotte (Williams) Borden.
He was a retired mechanic and an adherent to
Canso Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife,
the former Edith Johnson; five daughters,
Jean (Mrs.George Schrader), Canso; Ida, Montreal;
Mildred Howe, Fredericton, N.B.;
Anita Parker,Guysborough; Carol Ann Parker, Owls Head;
seven sons, Vernon, Wayne, Russell, all of Hazel Hill;
Gary, Middlewood; Carl, Lower Scakville; Kevin, Chester;
John, Canso; sister, Lavina, New Glasgow; brother, Alex, Guysbrough;
16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sons, Lawrence, Lorimier;
daughter Judith; four sisters and four brothers.
Funeral will be held in the Baptist Church, Canso,
Rev. David Wheeler offciating. Burial will be
in the Fourth Hill Cemetery, Canso.
