Mary A. MacNeil

MacNeil - At the Newton Hospital, Massachusetts,
January 19, 1936, Mary A. MacNeil,
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald MacNeil,
Giant's Lake, after six days illness of pneumonia.
Consoled by the last rites of Holy Mother Church,
of which she was always a devout member,
she passed peacefully to her reward.
Her death came as a shock to her family
and many friends, as she had been in perfect health
up to the time of her illness.
Deceased was a woman of many admirable qualities, sincere in faith,
of a cheerful kind and generous disposition as all who knew her
can testify. During the past forty years
she had been employed in Massachusetts and she frequently visited
her old home to which her remains were brought
on January 22, accompanied by her brother Allan,
Wellesley Hills, and Coleman Fay, Newton.
She is survived by two sisters and four brothers;
Mrs. D.A. MacIsaac, Giant's Lake; Mrs. John. L. MacDonald,
MacPherson's P.O.; John, Newton, Mass; Peter, Somerville; Allan,
Wellesley Hills; and Archie J. on the old homestead. The funeral
was held January 23 from St. Francis DeSales church.
