Frederick Bernard Johnson - 89, Hazel Hill,
died Sept. 12, 1992, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
Born in Hazel Hill, he was a son of the late Fred and Bessie(Lawrence)Johnson.
He was a retired truck driver and employed for 25 years
with Imperial Oil. He was an adherent of Canso Baptist Church.
He and his wife of 50 years were foster parents
to many children. He was the last surviving member
of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife,
the former Mary Dorrington;
three daughters, Anna (Mrs.Brian Monkman),
Thelma Taylor, both of British Columbia;
Kathy Dorrington, at home; son, Delbert Skinner,
Winnipeg; six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three sisters,
Stella, Viola, Nevelia; five brothers,
Harry, Clarence, Glen, Fred, Ivan.
Funeral will be held in the Canso Baptist Church,
Rev. Stanley Worth officiating.
