Marshall Leroy Smith - 82, Canso,
died May 30,1992 in Eastern Memorial Hosptial, Canso.
Born in Queensport, Guys. Co., he was the son of
the late George and Odessa (Ehler) Smith.
He was a retired watchman with the former National Sea Products,
Canso; former town councillor; and long service member
of Canso Volunteer Fire Department. He is
survived by his wife, the former Opal Hendsbee; three daughters,
Pearl(Mrs.Roy Pattison), Dartmouth;
Eileen (Mrs. Paul Smith), Canso; Shirley
(Mrs.Geoff Barrow), Surry, B.C.; stepson, Robert,
Canning; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Reginald, Murry; five sisters,
Edna, Minnie, Martha, Myrtle, Greta.
Funeral will be held in the United Baptist Church,
Canso, Rev. Stanley Worth officiating.
