Born in Canso, she was a daughter of the late
William and Maude (Roberts) Lumsden.
She was a member of the United Baptist Church, Canso.
She is survived by her husband Belmont J.;
two daughters Linda (Mrs.John Armsworthy), Merigomish,
Pictou County; Ruth (Mrs Thomas Hanlon), Canso;
five sons, Edison, Jerry, Clyde, all of Canso;
Belmont, Imperial, Sask.; Bruce, Kingston, Kings County;
two sisters, Evelyn (Mrs.Edgar Fisher), Port Mouton;
Virgina (Mrs.Joe Dort), Bramalea, Ont.;
26 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by four brothers,
Clyde, George, Judson, Edmund; a sister, Winifred Nicholas;
Daughter, Winifred Avis; grandson Robert Armsworthy.
Funeral will be held in the United Baptist Church,
Canso, Rev. David Wheeler and Rev.Stanley Worth officiating.
