Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough,
formerly of Queensport, died July 25, 1997,
in St Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Queensport, he was the son of the late
Alphonso and Gertrude (Richard) O’Leary.
He was a retired fisherman. He was a member of
the St Vincent DePaul Parish, Queensport.
Surviving are his wife, the former Viola Jamieson;
daughters, Barbara (Mrs.Derek Crosby),
Kitchener, Ont; Alice (Mrs.Harold Hendsbee) Queensport;
Winnie, Charlottetown, P.E.I; Sandra Nauglar, Brooklyn;
Margo (Mrs.Bernie Farrell) Ellershouse;
Doreen (Mrs.Ronnie Boudreau), Little Dover; Marlene (Mrs.Blair George),
Half Way Cove; sons Kenneth, Eldon at home;
Willard, Canso; sisters Mrs Agatha Feltmate, Charlos Cove;
Mary Casey, Ruby (Mrs.Lawrence (Nick) Carter),
Tene (Mrs.Malcolm Fancy), Queensport; Florence George, Whitehead;
Minnie (Mrs.Joseph Durant), Pomquet; Helen Brown,
Ontario;brother Osborne, Queensport; 20 grandchildren;
six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by Brother Leo;
sister Alice. Visitation 7-9 p.m today 2-9 p.m.
Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso.
Funeral 11 a.m Monday in St Vincent DePaul Church, Queensport,
Rev John Morrison officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
