NEW HARBOUR, GUYSBOROUGH CO.-
Andrew Fulton Sangster, 76, of here,
died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1989 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish.
Born in New Harbour, he was a son of the late
Robert and Laura (Sponagle) Sangster.
He was a member of the New Harbour United Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the Second World War,
serving in Italy from 1943-45 and was later employed as a laborer.
He is survived by his wife, the former Myrtle Crooks,
New Harbour; 8 sons, Allan and Danny, both of New Harbour;
Elwyn, Coddle's Hbr; Boyd and Lyn, both of Fredericton
and Terry, Delbert and Benny, all of Dartmouth;
8 daughters, Darlene, New Glasgow; Gwen(Mrs.Tony Hudson),
Head of Chezzetcook; Ruth(Mrs.Carmen Nickerson) and Edna
(Mrs.John Simms), both of New Hbr., Gloria(Mrs.Ralph Harpell),
and Vonnie(Mrs. David Pirie), Coddle's Hbr.;
31 grandchildren and 5 great grand- children and a sister,
Alice Sangster,Antigonish. He was predeceased by
a sister Nina Crooks; four brothers; Lawrence, Oswald, Byron and Herman.
His remains are resting in the New Harbour United Baptist Church
with visiting from 7-9pm today. The funeral service
will be held at 2 pm Tuesday from the church with interment
in Riverside Cemetery, New Harbour. Donations may be made
to the New Harbour United Baptist Church building fund or to any charity.
