Hendsbee, Daniel Alexander
86, Half Island Cove, Guysborough County,
died July 8,1992 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
Born in Half Island Cove, he was the son of
the late Daniel and Emily (Hendsbee) Hendsbee.
He was a fisherman by trade and a member of
the Half Island Cove United Baptist Church. He is survived by
seven daughters, Effie (Mrs. Vernon Cramer), Canso;
Mrs. Mary Greencorn, Half Way Cove;
Mrs. Hilda Rhynold; Flossie (Mrs. Patrick Rhynold), both of Whitehead;
Rita (Mrs. Bill Newman), Halifax; Helen (Mrs. Hector Cameron), Pictou County;
Hattie (Mrs. John MacDonald), Sydney; three sons,
Horace, Winston, Silas, all of Milton, Ont;
brother George, Half Island Cove; 54 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren;
30 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife,
the former Emily Hendsbee; three daughters, Mildred, Shirley, Muriel;
two brothers, Roy, Arthur; two sisters, Loretta, Alice; five grandchildren.
The body is in Half Island Cove United Baptist Church,
visiting today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev Stanley Worth officiating.
Burial will be in the Half Island Cove United Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations may be made to any charity.
