Anne Greta (nee Hines) Fisher
ANTIGONISH - Anne Greta Fisher, 78, of Whidden's Trailer Court,
formerly of Aspen, Guysborough County, died Sunday, April 12, in Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Fisherman's Harbour, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary (Beiswanger) Hines.
She was a member of Kirk Memorial United Church, Glenelg, Guysborough County;
United Church Women;
lifetime member of Womens Institute of Nova Scotia;
and a member of Club 60, Antigonish.
She is survived by a daughter, Effie (Mrs. Arthur Pelley), Lower Sackville;
two grandsons;
a sister, Ethel (Mrs. A.C. Giffin), Halifax;
several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Lambert Fisher;
three sisters, Marion MacKeen, Thelma Hines and Effie Fleet;
four brothers, Robert, Alfred, Benjamin and Willard.
Her remains are resting in Curry Brother's Funeral Home, Antigonish,
with visiting from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. today.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Kirk Memorial United Church, Glenelg.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Glenelg.
