Sunny Brae, Oct. 25 -
The death occured Wednesday morning
of Mrs. John Alex
Cumming,
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roscoe
MacDonald.
Mrs. Cumming, formerly Miss Isabel MacQuarrie,
was born in
Caledonia,
but moved to Sunny Brae after her husband's death
some years
ago.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Burris of Brookfield,
and Mrs. Roscoe
MacDonald, of Sunny Brae;
and two sons, John W. of the American West,
and
Marshall of Truro.
The last years of her life were spent
at the homes of
her children.
The funeral service was held in Calvin Presbyterian
Church,
conducted by Rev. Andrew Brown,
assisted by Rev. Alexander Murray of
United Church.
Interment was made in Caledonia Cemetery.
