OBITUARY- KENNETH ALVIN SANGSTER
Sangster, Kenneth Alvin - 84
Boylston, Guysborough County, died Monday,
July 12, 1999 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in New Harbour, he was a son of
the late Richard Baxter and Eunice Lavinia (Sangster) Sangster.
He was a retired carpenter and commercial fisherman.
Surviving are son, Daniel, Montreal; daughters, Grace (Mrs. Henry Smees),
Dundas, Ont.; Rosemary (Mrs. Dino Di-Fruscia), Montreal;
grandchildren, Lisa, Rhonda, Nathan Smees and Jordan Di-Fruscia;
several nieces and nephews; special niece and neighbour,
Goldie Simpson; close friend Edna Worth and family friend, Michael Jerrett.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former, Marjorie Jane Tobey;
son Warren; brothers, Robert and Truman; sister, Vera Crooks.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today, funeral service will be Friday,
3 p.m., both in New Harbour United Baptist Church, Rev. Chuck Mosley officiating.
Burial in Riverside Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
of Nova Scotia, New Harbour United Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
