Funeral
Mrs. Lorinda Crooks
CODDLES HARBOUR, June 4 -
Our community was again saddened on Friday
June 23,
when Mrs. Lorinda (Conrad) Crooks, widow of the late John H.
Crooks,
passed peacefully away in her sleep.
She was 79 years old on June 6,
and was born at Voglar's Cove, Lunenburg
Co.

with her husband
predeceasing her three years ago.

Glace Bay;
Mrs. Beatrice Lahey, Louisburg;
Emma, Mrs. J. Gillis, East Bay; also a
large number of nephews and nieces.
A brother, Morris, predeceased her
some years ago.
Rindie, as she was so often called,
was of a pleasant disposition, and
had a jolly word for everyone.
The funeral service was held from her home on Sunday
at 2 p.m., service
conducted by Rev. John Benson, assisted by Rev. Robert Currie.
Hymns sung were "Just Inside the Eastern Gate"
and "Out of My Bondage."
