- INDIAN POINT -
Frederick Lionel Dowding, 76, of Indian Point, Lunenburg County,
died Tuesday in Victoria General Hospital.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late
Lionel Harry and Annie Catherine (Gaskon) Dowding.
He was employed with Nova Scotia Power Corp. for 29 years,
retiring in 1975. Among the survivors
is an adopted daughter, Cindy Rudolph, Pictou; a stepdaughter,
Rita Hendsbee, Guysborough; and a stepson, Victor Sangster, Guysborough.
The remains are resting in Mattatall's Funeral Home, Dartmouth,
where funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Spring interment will be in Evergreen cemetery, Guysborough.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

an adopted son; an adopted daughter, Cindy Rudoph,
Pictou; a stepdaughter; two stepsons; a sister;
11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral was held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Rev. Wayne Lynch officiating.
Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
