CHARLES ALLISTER SANGSTER - 70, New Harbour, Guysborough Co.,
died Friday, May 9, 1977 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
Born at New Harbour, he was the son of the late
Robert Lester and Cora Mae (Sangster) Sangster.
He worked in the fishing industry as a labourer and truck driver
until he retired due to illness. Surviving are his wife, the former Elsie Gammon;
daughters, Debbie (Mrs. Carroll Pettipas), Peggy (Mrs. Bruce Ashely), Lantz;
Marilyn (Mrs. Steven Pinkham), Coddles Harbour, Helena (Mrs. Michael Luddington),
Holly (Mrs. Kenny Nickerson), New Harbour;
Nicole and her friend Ainsley, at home; sons Eugene and companion Shelly Ann Rhynold,
New Harbour; Craig, at home; grandchildren, Jason, Krista, Sheldon,
Charles and Fonda; sisters, Ruby (Mrs. Lloyd Andrews), Guysborough,
Helen (Mrs. Arthur Nickerson), New Harbour; Dora (Mrs. John Ernest),
Sackville; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Gary Edward;
brother, Harris, Gorden, Willard; Keith and Harry in infancy.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour,
Lic. Don Dunn officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Family flowers only, Donations may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association.
