Leland Kirby

Leland Kirby - Middle Miford, 29 yrs old
died December 20 1966 as the result of a
car-train collision an Big Brook, Inv. County.
Born in Guysborough, he was the son of
Edith and the late William Kirby. He was employed as a
woods - foreman and scaler with D.R. Munro of Port Hawkesbury.
Surviving are his wife the former Muriel Grover; his mother,
Lower Sackville; four sisters, June (Mrs. Gilbert Peart), Tor Bay;
Vera (Mrs. Leonard Grover), Cole Harbour; Marjorie (Mrs. Elwyn Lewis),
Lower Sackville; Shirley (Mrs. Carl Luddington), New Harbour,
one nephew and two nieces. Interment was
in the cemetery at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay.
