CORKUM, Sarah Margaret - 89, Port Bickerton,
Guysborough County, passed away
February 15, 2002,
in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Port
Bickerton,
she was a daughter of the late Donald Peter and Amy (Kaiser)
MacNaughton.
She was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church, Port Bickerton
and a member of the Ladies Missionary Society. She was a loving wife,
mother
and grandmother. She was the last surviving member
of her immediate family.
She is survived by son,
Ivan Douglas (Jackie), Lower Sackville; daughters,
Jean Agnes Larmond,
Alliston, Ontario; Amy Mildred Fraser, Port Bickerton;
Mary Elizabeth Harpell (Frank),
Harpellville; Deborah Ann MacDonald, Lower
Sackville;
ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ivan Kirk; brothers, Arnold and
Alexander;
sister, Elizabeth. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Monday, funeral
service 2 p.m.
Tuesday, both in Gospel Light Baptist Church, Port Bickerton,
Rev. John Luten officiating.
Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Port Bickerton.
Memorial donations may be made
to Hillside Cemetery Fund. Funeral
