Sherbrooke - Rudolph, Alexander R.,
Guysborough County, died Wednesday in the nursing home.
Born in Port Bickerton, he was a son of the late
Sivilla (Hiltz) and Herbert Rudolph.
He was a retired fisherman. He was a member of
Queens Lodge, No. 34, Sherbrooke, and an active member
of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Bickerton.
He is survived by four daughters, Florence (Mrs Charles Anslow),
Victoria, B.C.; Eleanor (Mrs R.E. Pullman), London, Ont.;
Roberta Kawecki, Sydney; Geneva (Mrs Chesley Kaiser),
Port Bickerton; two sons, Basil, Port Bickerton; Raymond, Larry's River;
three sisters, Geneva Kaiser, Annie Milbury, both of MacKaracher's Nursing Home,
Sherbrooke; Delila (Mrs Elmer Mattatall), Pugwash; 22 grandchildren;
23 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Mahala Dingle;
two sons, Owen, and Brenton; two sisters, Blanche and Margaret;
two brothers, Walter and Daniel. The remains are resting in Veinotte's Funeral Home,
Sherbrooke. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Church,
Port Bickerton. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Paul's Church or any charity.
