THE EVENING NEWS, THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 1984:

NEW HARBOUR - FLOYD MURDOCK SANGSTER, 67,
of New Harbour, Guys.Co., died Wednesday at home.

Born in New Harbour, he was a son of the late
Walter and Loretta(McKeil)Sangster.
He was a veteran of the Second World War,
serving overseas in Holland, Belgium and France.
He was employed with the department of transportation
as section foreman for four years.

He is survived by his wife,
the former Elva Wright; 3 sons,
Melvin, Clayton; both of New Harbour; and Miles, Amherst;
a daughter, Bernice(Mrs. Vic Nelson) Prince Rupert,B.C.; 9 grandchildren;
a brother, James, Hamilton, Ont; 2 sisters,
Elsie Wright, Iasac's Harbour; Maude (Mrs.Arthur Dort), Dort's Cove.

He was predeceased by a brother, Clayton.

The remains are resting in New Harbour United Church.
Funeral will be in New Harbour United Church,
with internment in Riverside cemetery.
