Saturday, 27 September 1969 –
Ernest Frederick Hattie – 79,
of Glenelg, Guysborough County will be buried today
following funeral service at the Glenelg Presbyterian church
at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Frank Canning officiating.
He died Wednesday in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Besides his wife, the former Jean Fisher of Aspen, he is survived by
three daughters; Ella (Mrs. Hugh Archibald) – New Town;
Mabel (Mrs. Joseph MacDonald) – Lochaber; Ethel
(Mrs. Robert Archibald) – Denver, Guysborough County; 3 sons,
Stanley – Dorchester, NB; Clayton – East River St. Mary’s;
Cecil – Glenelg; two sisters; Mrs. Clayton Sutherland –
Lower Caledonia; Mrs. Laura MacKean – Garfield,
Colchester County; and 25 grandchildren.
Two brothers, John Hugh and Frank are dead.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Aspen.
